Reading and Literacy Milestones

One part of choosing the perfect book is having some idea of children's typical reading or literacy "milestones." Of course, every child is unique and you know the children you care for best.  The information below is meant as a guide only.

Avid Readers

Is a child you care for an avid reader, devouring book after book and reading above their grade level? Keeping up and being able to suggest new titles can be a (welcome!) challenge.
