Just for Kids: Home

Welcome to Just for Kids!

Need help studying for a big test, finding a great book to read, completing an assignment or finding the best science project? Or are you just looking for some fun online games to beef up your homework skills? Either way, we've got you covered!

When it comes to completing projects and assignments, think of library staff as your personal research coaches. There is lots of information out there, and library staff can help you find what you need to make your work the best it can be. We have collected our favourite homework help sites here and hope that you will find them helpful.

February is I Love to Read Month

From author visits to family performers and family game nights there is wonderful programming happening at Winnipeg Public Library in February. Visit library branches evenings and Saturdays in February for programming for the whole family and to sign up for a library card!

For the February program schedule visit the Library Program & Events Calendar. Some programs require registration.

In February libraries will also be hosting THIN AIR KIDS 2025, a celebration of Canadian kids’ books. Libraries across the city will have author visits for families. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
