Information about Library programs, materials, and services for children, teens, and families.

Welcome

Whether you are a new parent, caring for school-age children or have teenagers in your life, we have brought together information we hope will answer your questions about the Library and give you information you can count on about literacy, reading and picking great print books and eBooks.

We have highlighted information about the Library we think will be of interest to you. For complete information about any of our services, please explore the other sections of our website. We update these pages as we come across new research or other sites we think you will find really useful, so keep checking in.

Thank you for visiting! We look forward to serving you and your family.

Early Literacy Info Guide

Providing information and programs to support early literacy is a priority of Winnipeg Public Library. Whether we are connecting you with current research about early literacy or designing and offering free Early Literacy Programs to support early literacy skills, we work to provide you and the children you care for services that are relevant, effective and fun.

We have so much great information to share about this topic that we have a dedicated Early Literacy Info Guide.
