Asian Heritage: Home

This guide shares resources for learning about Asian heritage, with a Canadian focus, and book suggestions for all ages.

Welcome.

Use this guide to begin or deepen learning about Asian history and heritage, with information that focuses on Manitoba and Canada.  Find resources that share: general histories and timelines, specific historical events, biographies, and discussions and stories about Asian peoples' experiences in Canada. The theme for this year's Asian Heritage Month is: “Preserving the Past, Embracing the Future: Amplifying Asian Canadian Legacy”.
