Newspaper Archive

Winnipeg Public Library's subscription to Newspaper Archive (including the full archives of the Winnipeg Free Press) has been extended to 24/7 at-home use for 2017. Previously available only on library computers, this resource can now be accessed from home by logging in with your library card.

Use the extensive archives to search for historic events, people and places, find birth/marriage/obituary notices for your ancestors, and print/save copies of the original newspaper pages.
