eMedia Guide: 24/7 at-home entertainment

The Library subscribes to a variety of downloadable content services, including eBooks and eAudiobooks, downloadable music and movies, eMagazines and eNewspapers. Our eMedia help pages have all the information you'll need to get set up.

Quick Links to eBooks Services

The following are online (or "browser-based") eBooks. Once you've logged in with your library card, you can access the full text of an eBook and read it on a computer screen or mobile device (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Android tablet). However, some devices may require Adobe Flash player to read the book and might not work.

OverDrive eBooks

With an OverDrive account, you get access to:

  • Over 21,000 eBooks, all completely free!
  • 24/7 downloads on your computer, smartphone or tablet
  • Popular, bestselling titles and authors, available for 7, 14, or 21-days loans

And there are no late fees! The books take themselves back to the library at the end of your loan!

These instructions are for black and white "eInk" Kobo devices. If you have a Kobo tablet (e.g., Kobo Arc, Kobo Vox), please use the instructions for Android devices.
